At Midtown Makers Gift Shop, we offer a diverse range of craft workshops designed to inspire creativity and bring people together. From arts and crafts sessions to more specialised classes such as crocheting for beginners, sewing, wet felting, photography, and quilting, there's something for everyone.
These workshops are tailored to help participants start or enhance a new skill or hobby, providing a supportive and friendly environment. Halloween Paint and Bakes Workshop

Our Makers have raided their craft rooms and are selling excess sewing materials, packing boxes, beads, jewellery findings, wool, ribbon and more.
Beginners Fused Glass Workshop
Friday 16th October

Learn how to cut glass, use frit and stringers to then produce 2 fused glass panels which can be made into t-lights with expert glass artist Tonia Kennedy from Glass 4 Class.
A fused glass workshop aimed at beginners to introduce the fun of producing your own t-lights.
Beginners will be taught how to produce a fused glass tile using frit (crushed glass), stringers and how to cut base glass.
All materials and tools will be provided including personal protective equipment.
Paracord Kumihimo braid dog lead workshop

Join Julie to learn how to make your own dog lead using a kumihimo disc & paracord.
A paracord kumihimo braid is a hybrid crafting technique that combines kumihimo, a traditional Japanese art of round or flat cord braiding with the modern utility and durability of paracord (parachute cord).
Using a disc (loom) with numbered slots, strands of paracord are crossed over one another in a precise sequence. Rotating the disc rhythmically creates a tight, structured, and uniform cord with intricate geometric patterns
Suitable for beginners.
All materials provided.
Let's Get Fizzy - Bath Bomb Workshop

Come along and make some bath bombs with Miriam of Miriam's Wish Aromas. Lots of fragrances, colours and shapes to experiment with and have fun.
Please bring an apron and wear something that you can pull sleeves up on or wear short sleeves. Tie up long hair (it will just get in your way :-) )
If fine dusts aggravates you may choose to wear a mask during mixing.
Christmas Decoration Painting Workshop

Located in the prestigious Midtown Makers Gift Shop, this open plan facility includes tables, chairs, accessible toilet, free Wi-Fi and a welcoming relaxed environment accommodating up to 12 individuals.
Booking can be made on an hourly basis between 10.00am and 4pm Monday to Saturday excluding public and bank holidays. Booking must be inclusive of your preparation time for set up and dismantling.

Hourly/Day Workspace offers office space for the delivery of business and community working, whether you need a private room for a video call or in person meetings.
Located in the Business Hub, this workspace facility includes up to 4 desks, chairs, electric sockets, lift access, Wi-Fi and a welcoming professional environment. Additionally, it features access to a modern kitchen and washroom amenities, providing convenience and comfort for both short and extended stays.
