CERES AT HOME
Kitty Rube handmakes scented candles in coconut and soy wax candle. Her current fragrances are luscious vanilla, pink pepper & rose, lavender, and peppermint & eucalyptus, which are available in black and white jars with a wooden lid. Kitty is originally from the Netherlands but has made Carrickfergus her home. She is just starting out with her business and has joined Enterprising Women MEA to help her meet new people and gain valuable skills. Kitty plans to increase her range of scents and products, so watch this space!​
HONEYCOMB CABIN
Meet Fiona Doherty of HoneyComb Cabin which is located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was created from a need to live a more sustainable and natural life.
"The association I am a member of advocates the keeping of the Native Irish Honeybee. It is a darker bee and has evolved to be accustomed to our climate. I started to make some products from the excess beeswax that my ladies produce. We started with candles and some beauty products. I thought, well, I don’t want toxins on my food, why would I use them anywhere else. People have loved receiving these as gifts and I decided, why not sell them!"

Our Goats Milk Soap products are 100% handmade, 100% natural and free from chemicals, artificial colourants and preservatives. Our soaps are scented using essential oils. Our goats are all Anglo Nubian and all live on our farm near the village of Clough, Ballymena in the heart of Northern Ireland. Without our gorgeous nanny goats there would be no goats milk soap, so they are the real hero’s behind each bar of rich, creamy, moisturising goats milk soap.

Emerging from studying Aromatherapy after completing my A-levels, my love of scents was born. I learned how a scent can transport you instantly to years previous and can evoke special memories with loved ones. Combining different scents with colour to create highly scented products for around the home is what I enjoy most. My Cosmetics range are all cosmetically assessed, CSPR reports complete and kind to your skin. I love to use my hands to create and when I'm feeling stressed I enjoy nothing more than a day in the workshop.
