Aine McGuckin: I began my pottery journey in 2017 after taking a one day class in wheel thrown, hand built and artisan pottery. Within a couple of years, I invested in my own pottery kiln. I love to make quirky, brightly coloured creations, that bring life and light to any space or situation. That is why I only produce small batches, to ensure every piece is unique, individual and personal. My creativity draws from the beautiful setting of my studio at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains.

Transformed from forgotten relics into captivating works of functional art, the selection of unusual, unique, and one-off lamps and candlesticks brings a touch of intrigue to your living spaces. Each item, once unused and gathering dust, has been skillfully repurposed to illuminate the nooks and crannies of your home with a warm, inviting glow.

My name is Tonia Kennedy and have been a Fused Glass crafter since 2018. I love doing this as it is my “happy place”. My background is in Pharmacy and Teaching Science which was a great base in helping me to have the confidence to learn how to work a kiln and produce my own creations. Glass has a lovely way of catching the light and making colours come alive, changing as you move around it. That sparkle and glow can really brighten a room and lift the mood too. My pieces are made to feel fun and heart-warming, so when the light shines through them, they don’t just look pretty—they bring a little smile as well.

My name is Vicky and I am a potter working out of my home studio in Crumlin. I got the chance to try pottery as a birthday treat and I was immediately hooked. I get so much joy from working with clay and love creating quirky ceramic pieces.

We have worked in the  ceramic industry since graduating from the University of Ulster in 2010 where we studied Fine & Applied Art: Ceramics.  Once leaving University we focused on teaching in the Community and went from place to place all over Northern Ireland. In 2018 we started developing new ideas to start selling ceramics to the public. We work with shops and customers to come up with a range of ceramics that is unique and individual to the client.   This image  shows some of our samples of work we create.
